Gracie Barra Denver publishes age-specific kids programs beginning with Tiny Champions for ages 3–4.

Is Jiu‑Jitsu safe for children?

Classes use supervised grappling and partner work on padded mats, without punches or kicks. Students are matched appropriately and learn in a controlled environment.

What should I wear to my first class?

Do I need to get fit first?
